People vote us for development, welfare: Sarpanch Shamabad

PNN/ Srinagar, J&K: People vote us for development and welfare, if we fail then we don’t deserve to be their representatives, said Bilal Ahmad Sarpanch of Shamabad Budgam district of Central Kashmir here on Monday.

The Sarpanch of the Shamsabad Budgam said that the people have voted us for development and welfare, if we fail to act upon their expectations then we are wasting our time and deserve to resign from Sirpanch post.

He further added that we lack funds though funds have been released by central government for three tyre panchayat but we have not received any small amount yet which is big unfortunate.

“Our area has duplicated road conditions, frequently electricity cuts and impure water problems irks our residents which be addressed at earliest.

If government does not support us or allot us funds then we have no option left than to resign
